Alexander Hicks was born 1983 in Houston, Texas, and is an expert when it comes to chilis, starting his chili eating career before he even turned one.
At 14 years old he started cooking with chilis, and shortly after that he started growing this plant.

He has long since turned his passion into a profession and has now grown over 2000 different types of chili himself.

Hicks organic grown chili plants received awards at major garden shows, and his presentations in schools, universities and workshops show the many different aspects about this plant that has a cultural impact all over the world.
He also supports several Chili projects around the world himself, one project is supporting a Community Garden in Indonesia where chilis play a big role in the local cuisine.

If you have questions about growing chilis, use of the fruits or historical facts and stories, Hicks will be there with plants, seeds and an incredible amount of chili knowledge. So, even if you do not eat spicy food, you will definitely enjoy the field report.
